Over all the years that we have been celebrating NCDUK, we have talked about many issues surrounding childhood that concern us all - screen time, the disconnect between children and nature, childhood obesity, mental health, the impact of adverse childhood experiences, disability and illness, the education system, the importance of play, the arts, creativity, music and dance, and so on. In 2020 we then faced the additional challenge of coronavirus and its implications re the impact of human activities on the natural world.
We are now facing the huge challenges brought on by global disruption, with all the societal and economic impact on children and young people. This is a chance to share your own campaigns and concerns with a national audience.

Are you an organisation, group or charity with a membership that shares any of the concerns mentioned above? If so, why not plan a talk, seminar or simple gathering together over a cuppa, on or in the week up to NCDUK, to discuss ideas and ways forward to help solve some of the problems. We know, of course, that there are no simple solutions, but dialogue on a small and large scale is vital as a starting point, and we would love you link up with us on social media on the day to share your thoughts and conclusions.
If you are a charitable organisation, we would also encourage you to use the day to fundraise. We will be very happy to help spread the word.
